The Sun has created a mock-up of a Polish edition of its website.
The dummy is on a public-facing page of the Sun Online, but is not accessible via search engines.
The page shows the front page of The Sun Online, under the title Słońce, Polish for "Sun".
The mock-up site leads on a story, dated 31 October, about the murder of Polish teenager Lidia Motylska in Leeds.
None of the other Polish headlines on the front page of the site link through to full stories.
It is understood that a Polish edition of the red-top was the winning idea in an internal competition for Sun staff this autumn. The idea was put forward by reporter Lucy Hagan.
Sun managing editor Graham Dudman confirmed that a competition had taken place, but declined to comment further.
