Opportunity for social media manager (£180 per day). You are an experienced social media manager with a strong track record of managing stakeholder and customer engagement, persuasive communicator across all media, and a strong writer with equal skills in networking and negotiating.

Crafts magazine requires assistant editor (up to £28K+pension). Armed with a high standard of written skills, you shall be working on the recently launched digital version of the magazine, the website and social media channels. Understanding of contemporary magazine publishing is essential.

Journalist sought for BBC World News Komla Dumor Award. Alongside excellent English and journalism skills (digital and social media), you will have an admirable broadcasting voice and strong presenting skills, up-to-date knowledge of Africa, and the ability to pitch a strong original African story idea.

ODI is looking for publications editor (£32,600-£38,917 p.a.). You will be an experienced writer and editor with wide-ranging knowledge of international affairs used to translating complex material into plain English. Must have experience of working in publications (preferably research).

Lennox Herald is looking for editor. You must understand how journalism drives circulation and online traffic and have the ability to produce a high-quality newspaper, while ensuring its website is the go-to place for online updates. Ability to make and maintain community contacts is essential.

You are a first-class journalist with excellent organisational skills plus written and verbal communication skills, passion for all things TV and celebrity, senior-level digital publishing experience, and superb social media skills. Job involves shifts.

Hamilton Advertiser has vacancy for part-time junior reporter. Qualified to NCTJ or equivalent, you will have 100 wpm shorthand speed, a valid driver’s licence, and old-school journalism skills combined with the mindset to embrace the latest developments in social media. Role is 18.5 hours a week.
