Theresa Dowling is the new editor of FX magazine, Wilmington Media’s contract design monthly.
Dowling has worked as a marketing consultant within the office contract and hotel markets. She has also freelanced in design, sales, promotion, marketing and communication for advertising and design companies. Her publishing background includes editing trade magazines and web sites.
FX has recently been redesigned and a new website for the magazine was launched earlier this year.
Dowling said: ‘The magazine is already an awesome force within the industry, which I further hope to develop into the definitive read for everyone involved with the contract world. I am looking forward to commissioning the leading opinions as well as the controversial ones, to give the FX brand the leadership and authority it deserves within the architecture and design sector.”
