A new Marylebone edition has been added to Archant London’s Ham
& High Express series of weekly newspapers. The expansion follows
the launch of the Wood & Vale two years ago which covered St John’s
Wood, Maida Vale, Paddington and Marylebone areas. The first edition of
the Marylebone Express broke the story of one of London’s oldest fire
stations facing closure and has launched a campaign against the
decision. Series editor Geoff Martin said: “Marylebone is one of the
most vibrant areas in London and has a strong sense of community. In
many ways it’s very similar to Hampstead and is an area where we can
develop a strong relationship with readers and advertisers.”
