Cosmopolitan editor Louise Court was crowned NatMags’ editor of the year at the company’s 2008 Eagle Awards, held earlier this month in London.
The external judges, from across the media and advertising industries, included Sunday Mirror editor Tina Weaver, writer Bel Mooney and deputy chief executive of the PPA Nick Mazur.
The awards, hosted by comedian Alan Carr, were the sixth for the company, held to celebrate the best staff in all areas of the busness, from editorial to central divisions.
Other winners included Jeremy Langmead’s Esquire, which scooped most-improved magazine of the year, and Men’s Health, edited by Morgan Rees, which picked up the award for magazine of the year.
