Men’s Health editor Morgan Rees has been promoted to creative development director of publisher NatMag-Rodale.
He will oversee the editorial development of all Natmag-Rodale brands in the UK, including Men’s Health, Triathlete’s World and Runner’s World.
He will also work alongside publishing director Alun Williams on a series of new projects at the company, which was formed in 2004 as an equal joint venture between the National Magazine Company and Rodale International in the US.
National Magazine Company chief executive Arnaud de Puyfontaine said: ‘I am confident he will bring fresh ideas, a competitive edge and huge opportunities for all the NatMag-Rodale brands.”
Rodale International senior vice president Michelle Meyercord added: ‘Morgan has been the main driver of our growth in the UK and a true leader for our global network of over 45 editions of Men’s Health.”
Rees, who has twice been awarded the PPA consumer editor of the year award and picked up the prestigious BSME editor’s editor award in 2009, will retain the role of editor-in-chief of Men’s Health.
