Edinburgh-based magazines-to-conferences company, Holyrood
Communications, has appointed John Macgill, 41, to the newlycreated
post of chief executive officer.
One of his first tasks is acting
as stand-in editor of the political magazine Holyrood after the firm
parted company with editor Malcolm Dickson after only six months in the
post.
Macgill, who previously edited Holyrood magazine for a
year, will hold the editorial reins until he hires a replacement for
Dickson.
