IPC’s fashion weekly Look has launched a website following the magazine’s £18m launch early last year.
Look.co.uk describes itself as a “fashion filter”, offering a mix of news and tips on high street fashion, beauty and celebrity style online.
Users can shop online and use the “shopping list” function to keep tabs on items they like.
The site is edited by former Yahoo and AOL online editor Jayne Cherrington-Cook. She said: ‘Look.co.uk will be the instant expert guide to what’s hot in-store for fashion hungry surfers.
“Updated daily – and with a mixture of advice and user tips – the site will showcase the must-have clothes, and track down all the best fashion and beauty deals to ensure users get the latest celebrity look.”
Look launched in February 2007, edited by former More editor Ali Hall. It recorded a debut ABC of 318,907 last August. Its circulation dipped slightly period on period to 305,603 in February this year.
Look publishing director Julie Lavington said. “We know the magazine drives hundreds of thousands of UK women in store every week, and we know that Look readers are heavy users of the internet.
“Three quarters of them access the web every day, and of those, over 80 per cent are already researching and buying clothes online.”
