London based b2b publisher opens US office

A London-based b2b publisher has opened its New York offices this week as it prepares for a year of expansion and acquisition.

Richard Alvin, managing director of Clearsight Publishing told Press Gazette that the New York operation had become necessary to help support its global fund management title, Fund Manager Today.

The New York office currently employs two staff, but there are plans to grow the business to include eight staff by the end of 2008.

The Canary Wharf-based business also publishes small business title Business Matters, which it bought in March 2007. It also publishes The Ashburton Gazette, a fanzine for supporters of Arsenal football club.
