Dan Linstead, editor of the magazine for mobile phone network Orange, is leaving to pursue new projects.
Linstead joined Orange magazine in 2000 and has been editor for the past two and a half years. Linstead said he planned to stay in journalism.
“I had done everything I could and wanted to spread my wings a bit,” he said.
The title is available in all Orange shops for existing and prospective mobile phone users. It features news, offers and phone tariffs.
John Brown Publishing used to hold the contract to produce the magazine for Vodafone but it was felt that competition between the two networks was too strong to maintain them both in the same portfolio following the merger of JBP and Citrus Publishing in 2002.
