Lancs papers left out in cold

Have we done something to offend you? Your round up of circulation
figures for Lancashire newspapers appeared with a couple of omissions,
the daily Gazette title in Blackpool and its sister title the Fleetwood
Weekly News.

Just for the record, The Gazette will come in
slightly better than the average daily figure you cited for 2004 with
circulation at 34,737– that’s 97.5 per cent year on year.

Not bad for a paper that posted successive sales increases for 2002 and 2003.

The FWN did even better with sales rising above 6,000 copies a week for the first time, recording a 2.5 per cent increase.

Editor’s note: sincere apologies for the omissions
