Labour MP uses Argus to blast Blair

Labour MP Llew Smith has used the South Wales Argus to launch a pre-election attack on his own party leader Tony Blair.
 
Smith, who is standing down at the next election
as MP for Blaenau Gwent, has catalogued a litany of failures by the the
Labour government under Blair.
 
In his exclusive interview with the Newsquest
title Smith said: “Blair, coming from a Tory family and maintaining the
values which often come with this upbringing, together with a lack of
interest, or indeed understanding of our Labour history sees nothing
wrong in attacking the public services – which he calls
‘modernisation’.”
