Star, the new handbag-sized celebrity magazine from Northern & Shell, launched this week with an exclusive on Kylie Minogue’s video featuring computer enhanced boobs and cheek bones.
The £5m launch is hoping to attract “sassy”, streetwise, fashion-conscious women in their 20s with interviews, shopping and a TV and reviews section.
The issue contains an interview with the cheating major from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and his “horror” at having to spend a week with Jade Goody in TV’s Wife Swap.

A section entitled “neighbourhood celeb watch” follows Posh Spice into her local newsagents.
It also features Kate Moss wrestling with a paparazzi photographer and an exclusive interview with Simon Cowell on who he wants to win Pop Idol.
