It’s two years this week since the Palestine Hotel in Baghdad was
shelled by US soldiers, an attack in which two journalists died. Their
deaths have never been credibly investigated by the American
authorities, as the International Federation of Journalists has pointed
out in a letter to President Bush this week.
There are another 11
other cases of unexplained killings in which US soldiers were involved
that require answers, too. It’s our job to keep asking the questions.
And to remember, this week in particular, Reuters cameraman Taras
Protsyuk and Spanish television’s José Couso.
