Gloucestershire Echo photographer Jo Harvell has won the prize for the best Nationwide FA Cup photograph of the year. Her winning shot showed Cheltenham Town’s Damian Spencer flying through the air to beat Fulham’s goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to the ball.
It was taken at Loftus Road in the third round of the FA Cup in January.
Judges said of Harvell: “She thoroughly deserves this award for capturing the determination and theatre of the FA Cup in this brilliant picture.”
