Do you want to change the world?

Do you want to write about the big stories that matter globally for business people?

If so, then this might be the job for you.

News website Verdict.co.uk is recruiting a junior reporter. This job would suit someone who has graduated relatively recently from a journalism undergraduate or postgraduate course and who has an interest in globalisation and the issues it raises for business.

It also might suit someone fairly early on in their career who is looking for a new challenge where they have the potential to make a big impact.

An interest in statistics and data would also be a big plus in this role.

The successful candidate needs to bring plenty of initiative and a desire to seek out and break their own exclusive stories.

Verdict is part of the GlobalData group and is a fast-growing website with big ambitions. So this role is an opportunity to get in near the start with a growing news brand.

Applicants must have NCTJ (or equivalent) level training in journalism.

Please apply to Verdict editor Billy Bambrough, Billy.Bambrough@verdict.co.uk, by 10 February 2018 (but the sooner the better).

Write a short covering statement and include three ideas for news stories or features which you would like to pursue for Verdict.co.uk.

To apply for this job email your details to billy.bambrough@verdict.co.uk
