Journalists Amy Caulfield and Katherine Danks are benefiting from a job-exchange scheme between the Press Association and the Australian Associated Press. Caulfield is swapping her role at the PA in London for Danks’s job at the AAP in Sydney. The three-month secondment scheme is now in its third year.
Caulfield, 25, joined PA as a trainee in July 2002 and her programme has involved general reporting, Teletext, producing digital packages, working on the regional wires, writing features and broadcasting.
Danks, 24, joined AAP in January 2001 and has worked in various roles, including sub-editing and production and as a general news reporter in the Sydney bureau.
