The career of Guy Adams ‒ once voted the best-dressed male hack by Press Gazette ‒ is on the up again.
The former Pandora gossip columnist who has been the chief news feature writer at the Indy has just been appointed acting features editor by supremo Simon Kelner. Other appointments are: Jo Ellison, managing editor, features, Lizzie Davies, deputy home news editor and Ruth Metzstein, multimedia editor of both the daily and Sindy.
But it’s not all good tidings ‒ Kelner is having to wave goodbye to his star feature writer Ed Caesar, who was voted British Press Awards Young Journalist of the Year. It’s a great loss to
the Indy, but he’s making a new berth for himself at the Sunday Times where he’ll write for the news review section and the colour magazine.
