The Hull Daily Mail is hoping to reach an extra 6,000 readers a week by giving the paper away free to passengers on the Hull Trains London service.
Daily Mail editor John Meehan said: “Many of the passengers using Hull Trains may not have time to stop and buy the Mail. It also allows us to target people from outside the area who might be visiting Hull and wouldn’t otherwise see a copy of the paper.
“Both organisations are committed to promoting our city and region and this arrangement will allow passengers to keep up-to-date with all the latest developments as they travel to and from Hull.”
