A new cricket magazine called Spin will be launched by Highbury House in February.
The monthly will be edited by sports journalist Duncan Steer, and Highbury says a roster of contributors will be unveiled closer to the launch.
The magazine, released through the publisher’s Lifestyle Publishing Division, aims to be “the magazine that modern international cricket deserves”, and have a “fresh, dynamic and inclusive editorial style”. David Nizol, Highbury’s chief operating officer, added: ” Spin will do for cricket magazines what Channel 4 and Sky have done for cricket on TV, providing entertaining, sharp and authoritative coverage of the world game at the highest level.
“The magazine will appeal to cricket fans of all cultures and ages, including the growing number of younger fans and women who are enjoying the sport’s resurgence.”
The group’s stable of sports titles includes Procycling, the official Tour de France Guide and golf titles The Open and The Masters.
