Haymarket hits hospitality sector with RSVP launch

By Press Gazette

Haymarket has launched a business magazine for party planners called RSVP, writes Ruth Addicott.

The title claims to be the UK’s only business title for planners of creative events and hospitality packages.

It will feature advice on booking venues, sourcing suppliers and the latest packages.

Editor Mike Fletcher said event organisers ranged from company managing directors and their PAs to PR managers, HR consultants, inhouse events staff and external agencies.

“There is no single job title that defines our readers, but we’ve carefully selected 10,000 people from a range of blue-chip companies who hold the event purse-strings and would benefit from receiving this valuable business tool,” he said.

RSVP will cover launch parties, awards ceremonies, film premières, after-show parties, fashion shows, hospitality at high-profile sporting events and Christmas parties.

The launch follows a joint-venture agreement with Single Market Events, which organised the RSVP exhibition at Olympia. It will sit alongside Haymarket’s existing monthly, Event magazine, which also covers exhibitions and live events.
