Less than a month into its Berliner relaunch The Guardian has scrapped Giles Foden’s diary column.
Foden took over the diary slot from Marina Hyde, who is now a columnist.
Foden
is to return to his old job as deputy literary editor and various
existing members of staff will now contribute to the section.
According
to a Guardian spokesman Foden stepped down by mutual consent and “quite
a few” more post Berliner changes are expected.
