GQ marks issue 200 with range of covers

By Press Gazette

Men’s magazine GQ has commissioned five different covers to run in one issue to celebrate 200 editions of the magazine.

The
covers depict celebrity, power, sex, humour, luxury, fashion and
information: “A good representation of what you can expect to find in
GQ this month, as well as every month,”

according to editor Dylan Jones.

He added: “In many ways the magazine is an upmarket concierge service.

“Our
readers tend to be quite sophisticated, and so the trick is to always
make sure the magazine contains enough up-to-the-minute information and
entertainment, the sort of stuff you can’t find anywhere else.”

The
issue also includes a series of 200-themed features, including “200
Things You Should Do Before You Buy The Next Issue Of GQ”, “The 200
Most Powerful Men In Britain” and “200 Songs, a celebration of the
greatest young bands in the country”.
