This week’s issue of Time Out will feature an exclusive cover created by graffiti artist Jamie Hewlett.
The
design, which features Noodle from the band Gorillaz holding a VIP
pass, is for the magazine’s summer festival issue. The issue also
includes an interview with Murdoc and Noodle on their picks of the
summer festivals and their festival survival tips.
Time Out’s
editor, Gordon Thomson, said: “Jamie’s collaboration with Gorillaz is
one of the success stories of the design world and through his
particular style of animation he has brought the medium to the
forefront of popular culture. He’s given us an image that will really
jump out from the newsstands.”
The Time Out Gorillaz front cover issue will be available from 17 May.
