Golf & Travel, a quarterly magazine for golfers has launched, writes Ruth Addicott.
The 60-page quarterly from independent publisher VRA will feature travel ideas for golf holidays and reviews of golf resorts and courses worldwide.
The launch issue has a focus on Florida and an interview with golfing guru David Leadbetter. It has a cover price of £2.95.
According to the magazine’s publisher, Vic Robbie, British golfers take more than 650,000 golfing holidays a year. The international golf tourism market is worth an estimated £8bn and is expanding two to three times faster than general leisure tourism. “We are trying to help golfers get the most out of their breaks,” he said.
