Glasgow-based publishing group Media World has launched an A4 fullcolour glossy magazine aimed at Scotland’s chefs and restaurateurs.
The first issue of Entree, a free magazine, had a distribution of 6,000. The print run will be increased if there is sufficient demand.
The 32-page title, edited by Nina Young, will be published as a bimonthly until the end of the year, then monthly.
Although the editorial is currently done in house, Young plans to employ freelance journalists to add editorial diversity.
Media World, which has eight staff, already publishes the Scottish Licensed Trade Association’s magazine Dram, and Repertoire, which features Scotland’s upmarket bars. It also runs the SLTA’s awards.
