Current group editor of Central Independent Newspapers Sam Holliday has
been named as editor of the Bath Chronicle.
He replaces David Gledhill who abruptly stood down last month amid
rumours that the Chronicle would be going weekly or bi-weekly.
Central Independent Newspapers is, like the Chronicle, also owned by
Northcliffe and includes: the Lichfield Mercury, Sutton Coldfield
Observer, Walsall Advertiser, Cannock Chase Mercury and Great Barr
Observer.
