Future names new editor for redesigned web title

Future has appointed a new editor to .net, its newly-redesigned web
magazine. Dan Oliver – now in his ninth year at Future – takes the
chair having overseen the recent redesign of sister-title Practical
Web Design.

Previously deputy editor of .net between 2000 and 2004,
Oliver will also be joined by new art editor, Chris Bates.

Since
launching in 1994, .net has catered to web users with an interest in
design, development and online culture, and this adds a number of new
sections, including an exclusive monthly interview; regular opinion
pieces from global web designers; and Feed, a 12-page section packed
with the hottest websites, podcasts, gadgets and events.

Publisher
Kelley Corten said: "With the internet currently enjoying a renaissance
period, this is the perfect time to reinvigorate the design and content
of the UK's most established web magazine.”
