The Financial Times is relaunching its House and Home section as a supplement with the weekend FT.
From September 16 the FT will launch House and Home as a standalone 12-page supplement. It will have an international focus, drawing upon the FT’s overseas staff.
New features will include "The Next Neighbourhood", an article on an up and coming town or area, "My Favourite Home", a question-and-answer session with a personality about the places where they have lived, and "The Expatriate Profile", which will focus on the positives and negatives of living – or being posted – abroad.
Alison Beard, editor of House and Home, said: “The new House and Home is an exciting development for the weekend FT. Our pages will be packed with the strong reporting and elegant writing that readers expect from the FT, and our international focus will help us stand out from other weekend property sections.”
