Free weekly Shortlist unveils ‘very masculine’ redesign

By Press Gazette

Shortlist will unveil a ‘bold, modern and very masculine’redesign in its latest edition this week.

The 17 May edition, which features a cover interview with actor Michael Fassbender, also features several new sections.

Its front section, Notebook, has been reworked to ‘give our readers more digestible news stories”, and a new page called The Chosen Few showcases the best buys in eight different categories each week, ‘from Japanese Whiskies to fixed gear bikes”.

There is a new film page, Screen 7, and a new back section called Man: Machine, which looks at adventure, travel, and fitness.

There’s also a new back page called ‘Middle Class War’, in which ‘two famous faces are pitted against each other to see who has a better grasp of foreign language cinema and craft fairs”.

Editor Martin Robinson said: ‘We know our recession-hit readers are very busy professional men, who work long hours, enjoy blowing off steam and want information to be delivered to them quickly. We’ve created some new pages and sections to respond to this.”
