Richard Tidiman, the former editor of the East London Advertiser, has died. He was found at his Isle of Dogs home on Sunday.
A post mortem was carried out on Monday and an inquest will be opened today.
Before his early retirement last year, Tidiman, 55, had worked for the Advertiser since 1977, becoming editor and later group editor.
