Camilla Collinson has been appointed editor of Shooting Times , IPC Country & Leisure Media’s weekly country sports title.
Collinson takes up her new role from April and will become the first female editor in the title’s 123-year history.
She
has worked on the magazine for more than three years and previously
worked for the Countryside Alliance’s Campaign for Shooting. Her
appointment follows the resignation of former editor Rob Gray who left
to take up the position of campaigns director at the Countryside
Alliance.
Collinson said: “Becoming editor is not something that I take lightly –it is a huge responsibility and a privilege.”
Publisher
Fiona Mercer said: “Camilla’s ideas will take the title from strength
to strength. I’m confident that, as the title’s first female editor,
she will ensure the tradition Shooting Times commands in the
marketplace.”
