James Rutter has been appointed deputy editor of Financial News.
Based at the London office of the weekly financial services newspaper, he will provide and develop the paper’s coverage of the UK, Europe and the US’s securities and investment banking industries.
Rutter will work with FN executive editor William Wright and the 28strong editorial team both on the paper and its website, Financial News Online, at efinancialnews.com.

Most recently he spent three years as editor of Euromoney’s Global Investor, following spells with Credit, Intermoney.com and Euromoney as well as working as a freelance.
