Final British Press Awards shortlists unveiled

The final shortlists for the British Press Awards 2004 have been released.

Winners will be announced at a gala evening at the Hilton Hotel in London’s Park Lane on 16 March, presented by Michael Buerk.

National Newspaper of the Year: The Independent, The Sunday Times, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, The Observer.
