Exodus from MGN continues

Phil Hall has stepped into the breach at MGN as yet another manager leaves in the wake of Trinity Mirror chief executive Sly Bailey’s review.

Hall, editorial development director, has taken responsibility for the UK national titles’ marketing department as marketing director Alisdair Luxmoore leaves and the company seeks a permanent replacement.

Luxmoore follows managing director Mark Haysom and Richard Wyatt, development director, as a casualty of falling sales at the company.

Hall, a former editor of the News of the World and Hello!, will report directly to Bailey.
