Regional photographers from around the country gathered in London
for Northcliffe’s annual Everyday photographic exhibition and awards.
The exhibition celebrated everyday life in Britain with entries
ranging from light-hearted shots of dog shows and festivals to moving
coverage of D-Day war veterans.
As reported last week, Dominic
Lipinski was the only trainee to have entered the competition and
amazed everyone by walking away with the top prize.
His
photographs documented everyday life in Aspley Wood School in
Nottingham for children with physical impairments and complex learning
difficulties.
Money from the sales of photographs will be split
between Lipinski and Aspley Wood. Lipinski also won £6,000 towards a
National Geographic photo expedition in a choice of countries.
