Ex-Thames News staff set to party

By Press Gazette

Former staff of Thames TV’s Thames News are being invited to mark the 10th anniversary of the ITV news programme going off air.

A party is being held in the Green Man, Great Portland Street, London, NW1 on the evening of Friday, 24 January.

Rob Kirk, editor of the long-running programme, said: “We had a tremendous, talented team in the newsroom who have gone on to work on a range of top programmes across the industry.”

The programme folded after the London weekday franchise was awarded to Carlton.
