Eve magazine,Haymarket Consumer Media’s glossy women’s monthly, has poached Grazia’s acting associate editor.
Sarah Pyper, who was also part of the launch team for Emap’s Closer, will join Eve on 21 February as executive editor.
Pyper joined Grazia in May 2007 from Hachette Filipacchi where she was contributing editor on Elle and Red magazines.
Before joining Hachette she also spent time in New York, working as special projects editor at US Weekly, executive editor on In Touch and editorial consultant on TV Guide.
Editor of Eve, Nic McCarthy, who took up her post at the beginning of this year, said: “I am delighted that Sarah is joining the Eve team.
“She is an outstanding magazine talent, and her experience on some of the UK and US’s best magazines will be invaluable in driving Eve to even greater success.”
Eve saw a circulation decline in the first half of 2007, down 4.7 per cent year on year to 163,415.
