The European Commission is running the EU Journalist Award for the second year running.
Journalists
in the 25 EU member states are invited to submit articles on the
subject of combating discrimination and promoting diversity in
employment.
The “For Diversity. Against Discrimination” EU
Journalist Award is open to print and online
journalists,photojournalists and photographers.
Media professionals and antidiscrimination experts will select 25 national award winners in each category.
A European jury will then select the finalists, who will win a study trip to an EU country of their choice.
To
be eligible for the award, articles and photos must be published in
print or online media between 1 January and 31 December 2005.
Articles
may be submitted in all official EU languages and should be at least
800 words in length. All articles and photos should be submitted by 31
December 2005.
