Centaur Communications’ new business-to-business magazine, Finance Week, has unveiled its main editorial line-up, writes Sarah Lagan .
Dearbail Jordan, a former city correspondent from The Times, has been appointed news editor on the title, which is edited by Sean Brierley.
Meanwhile Richard Northedge, who was deputy city editor at The Daily Telegraph, will write a regular weekly column. Northedge was executive editor of Sunday Business, then edited by Jeff Randall, now the BBC’s business editor.
There are six journalists working on the title in all.
The A4 news-led magazine will have a controlled circulation of 15,000 for financial directors and financial controllers of the top 6000 businesses.
The same number will go out on newsstands in central London and there will also be subscriptions available.
Brierley, who has been a business journalist for 16 years, is former editor of The Lawyer and The Engineer and was the deputy editor of Marketing Week for four years.
He said: “Its not a classic B2B model in that, as well as presenting a knowledge of what’s going on in the industry, we will also include the more technical information charts, facts and data that is useful to our readers in their business.”
The first issue of them agazine is due out on Tuesday.
