Housing Today editor Denise Chevin (above) is to return to Building as editor. She will take over from Adrian Barrick, who has been promoted to publisher.
Chevin worked on Building for 13 years and took part in redesigns in 1998 and 2001. When she became editor of Housing Today, she oversaw a transformation of its design and content.
Barrick said Chevin had “all the drive, personality and experience necessary to guide Building through the next stage in its development”.
Chevin, due to start in May, is only the 16th editor of Building in its 161-year history.
Barrick has responsibility for four of CMPi’s architecture and construction magazines: Building, Building Design, RIBA Journal and Construction Manager.
