Mark Dinning has been appointed as the new editor of Future’s Total
Film magazine, after spending nine months as editorial consultant
across the company’s Entertainment Group.
Before joining Future,
he worked on Empire for five years and was on the launch team for Zoo,
as well as writing for The Face, Arena and FHM.
He takes over
from Matt Mueller, who is now Total Film’s editor-at-large and is
concentrating on increasing the magazine’s profile within the movie
industry. Mueller will now focus on securing more exclusive interviews
for the magazine, according to Future.
Dinning said: “This is the
most exciting year for movies in recent memory, with Star Wars released
and Batman, War of the Worlds and King Kong all due out in the next
couple of months.
