Elisabeth Ribbans rejoins Guardian Newspapers to be deputy editor of Guardian Weekly. She joins from environmental group WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Programme), where she was editorial and communications manager.
Prior to this she worked at Tomorrow magazine, where she was deputy editor and southern Europe correspondent. She has previously worked as editor-in chief of the Guardian and Observer syndication service.
Guardian Weekly editor Patrick Ensor said: “Elisabeth has a wealth of experience. She will play an important part in developing the paper and helping to build upon our international sales.”
