Condé Nast Contract Division wins three new contracts

Condé Nast’s customer publishing branch, Condé Nast Contract Divison, has beaten rival pitches to win three new contracts in the luxury sector.

Maybourne Hotel Group, owner of Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley hotels, has again appointed CNCD as the publisher of a new magazine for its hotels for the next three years. CNCD, which has produced Style magazine for the hotels’ guests for the past six years, this time succeeded against pitches from Luxury Publishing, Luxarro and Sunday Publishing. The new Maybourne magazine will be published three times a year with a circulation of 40,000, and will be distributed to all guests and to a mailing list of ‘high net worth individuals”, mainly in the UK and US.

CNCD, which also produces magazines for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and House of Fraser, beat Luxury Publishing to a second contract with British jeweller Boodles to publish its magazine for clients for the next two years and also won a contract with mobile telephone maker Vertu to produce a coffee table book for its tenth anniversary in September.

“These new business wins for Condé Nast show that luxury brands are not willing to compromise on quality when producing publications for their clients and partners,” said Darius Sanai, CNCD’s editorial director. “We understand luxury intuitively: it’s our business. We look forward to working with these fabulous new clients, and with our prestigious existing clients, for many years as we consolidate our position as the bespoke publisher of choice for the luxury industry.”
