Clark set for Men's Fitness challenge

Simon Clark has been appointed publisher of Men’s Fitness and associate publisher of Maxim.

Clark
has worked for Dennis Publishing for more than nine years, and
previously held the position of group advertising director, men’s
lifestyle magazines.

Clark said of his appointment, which he
takes up in July: “I am very excited about taking on this role and am
really looking forward to the challenge.

“Men’s Fitness has just reported its eighth consecutive ABC increase and is in great shape – so it is also a great honour.

“We have exciting plans for Men’s Fitness, starting with a redesign from our May issue and an 11th issue this year.

“The
magazine has managed to succeed where many other magazines have failed
– that is in capturing the older, more affluent men’s magazine reader.

“This is something I’m determined to make more people aware of.”
