Origin Publishing has won the contract to produce a monthly internal staff magazine for the National Blood Service. The magazine, currently titled Circulation, will feature staff news, charity events and profiles as well as raising health, scientific and management issues.
Jude Pamington, communications manager for NBS, will be the editor and 6,000 copies will be distributed to NBS centres in the UK.
The move follows Origin’s takeover by BBC Worldwide in February and the controversial transfer of three of the BBC’s specialist titles – BBC Music, History and Wildlife magazines – to Origin’s headquarters in Bristol.
