The shortlists for the main categories of the BSME Editors of the Year awards have been announced.
Press Gazette editor Ian Reeves is nominated in the editor of the year category for business and professional magazines.

editor Celia Duncan said: “There's no doubt from the incredibly high
standard of BSME entries that 2006 has been an exceptional year for
magazine – and magazine website – innovation.
"The BSME Committee of twelve editors, representing all areas of our
industry, found the shortlisting process very challenging and now our
guest panel of judges face the difficult task of deciding the eventual
winners.”

The shortlist for the society’s Innovation and Brand Building Initiative of the year awards will be announced mid October.
The awards, together with the Society’s Mark Boxer Award and
Editors’ Editor of the Year will be presented at The London Hilton on
Tuesday, November 14 2006.
