Brooklands Magazine Group has extended its international travel and property portfolio with the launch of a new magazine, writes Julie Dube.
With its new title, everything America, Brooklands aims to capitalise on the successful format of its sister titles everything France, everything Spain and A Place in the Sun to reflect the leisure interests and taste for property acquisition of the millions of UK residents who visit the United States every year.
Ann Wallace, group editor of the Brooklands Group, said: “The appeal is obvious: with a typical Florida property comprising four bedrooms, two bathrooms, garage, garden and swimming pool and costing around £100,000, it’s no wonder that so many Brits are taking the plunge.”
The 164-page magazine will initially be published every eight weeks, with a monthly frequency likely to be in effect by early 2005.
The July 22 launch print run was in excess of 80,000 copies. Promotional space was reserved with WH Smith, key travel points, supermarkets, and leading independent retailers.
everything America costs £2.95.
