Black eye for Mirror reporter from Babyshambles singer

By Press Gazette

A Daily Mirror reporter was punched in the face after requesting an interview from pop singer Pete Doherty.
Laurie Hanna, 24, asked Doherty for a “a quick
ten minute chat” on Tuesday evening when he spotted him in the Boogaloo
pub in Archway, London.
Hanna bought a round of drinks for Doherty and is friends, briefly left the pub and then returned to be punched in the face.
Hanna went to a nearby hospital where he said he was treated for “bruising, swelling and pain arond his left eye”.
