Birmingham Post celebrates 150 years in print

The Birmingham Press Club is organising a reunion to mark the Birmingham Post’s 150th year.

The club will host the celebration on 4 December, the same date as the Post was launched in 1857.

Press Club chairman John Lamb, a former Post assistant editor, said: ‘We hope to bring together as many as possible for the celebration, which will take the form of a reception at the Radisson with after-party activities being planned.”

Post editor Marc Reeves said that a formal celebration is planned forthe new year.
